Purpose
The We Play Music 4 You is a 501c3 licensed non-profit organization founded to create a unique platform for school children worldwide to develop musical excellence, volunteerism, and leadership through music for the elderly and sick in the community.
Participation

The funds collected help us to support the organization’s administration activities, fund eligible schools’ music programs, and work to provide various musical accessories such as music stands, sheet music, and professional guidance for participating students.
All the efforts lead us to achieve our vision to provide a unique worldwide platform:
- To develop a child’s musical excellence, volunteerism and leadership at young age through music for elderly and sick in the community
- To improve quality of life of the elderly and sick
- To bridge the ever-increasing gap between younger and older generations to make this world a better place

If you are an assisted living, retirement community, skilled care, independent living, nursing home, hospital, senior Care facility or a hospice Care facility, you can use Sign Up form to register your facility to participate. This will allow you to maintain your facility’s volunteer calendar, track the students signed up to visit your facility, and keep a record of previous visits.
If you are a School Student or Home Schooled Student who wishes to volunteer, use our Sign Up form to register to participate. This will allow you to locate nearby registered and participating facilities so you can plan visits accordingly.
Student Participation
School children from public, private, cyber, home or any other type of school or academy between ages 10 to 18 are eligible to participate as aWe Play Music 4 You volunteer.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Given that the safety and security of our young volunteers and the residents at the visiting facility is our priority, a minor child must always be accompanied by an adult at all times during facility visits.
Facility Participation
Any Government licensed senior community, senior care facility, nursing home, hospital and hospice care facility in good standing is eligible to participate.

Compliance
As a participating facility to this program, you have already proven your leadership, compassion and passion to add value and make a difference in the lives of elderly and sick at your facility while inspiring the school children to volunteer at your facility and helping to bridge the gap between younger and older generation.
Our organization’s code of conduct requires each participating facility to be compliant to the volunteering ethics and professionalism.
As a participating student to this program, you have already proven your leadership, compassion and passion to add value and make a difference in the lives of elderly and sick in the community.

Note that the Code of Conduct though adds additional discipline is required to ensure the safety and security of the participating students and residents at the participating facilities. We appreciate your kind support, cooperation and collaboration to make us a successful platform for a great cause.
Governance
The We Play Music 4 You organization is committed to abide by the Code of Conduct to uphold a highest standard in volunteering ethics and professionalism.
As a part of our governance program, each participating member is required to attend the volunteering calendar and sign ups, and accurate volunteering hours recording in timely manner.
Note that only approved students and facilities can participate in the program.
Recognition & Certificates
Absolutely! After all, you are providing the generous volunteering opportunities for the young generations to build their musical excellence, leadership and volunteerism!
- A facility allowing students to complete at least 10 volunteering hours is Bronze star facility.
- A facility allowing students to complete at least 25 volunteering hours is Silver star facility.
- A facility allowing students to complete at least 50 volunteering hours is Gold star facility.
- A facility allowing students to complete at least 100 volunteering hours is Platinum star facility.
♦♦Your star ranking will further help you to showcase your facility’s commitment towards its residents and the community.
♦♦♦Note that you may use your facility’s WePlayMusic4You participation certification in your facility’s promotional materials as long as the facility is still registered with WePlayMusic4You.
Absolutely! Our organization’s digital platform will track students’ submitted and approved volunteer hours. This will allow the student to view volunteer hours anytime and also download a valid volunteering certificate anytime.
The organization will also provide recognition to students for their extraordinary contribution as below:
A student completing at least 10 volunteering hours is a Bronze level volunteer
A student completing at least 25 volunteering hours is a Silver level volunteer
A student completing at least 50 volunteering hours is a Gold level volunteer
A student completing at least 100 volunteering hours is a Platinum level volunteer
Note that these various levels of recognition will be reflected in your certificate and will also help to create an unique impression on your college application and resumes!
Scams
The We Play Music 4 You is a non-profit organization to enable unique platform for participating and licensed school students only. Also, the students can play their musical instruments only at the participating and licensed facilities.
If you notice any unauthorized student or facility using our organization’s purpose, name or logo for personal gain, please report to us immediately using our Contact Us form.
Also, if you believe that someone is posing as a We Play Music 4 You employee and fraudulently soliciting, collecting, or receiving money or material, please report to us immediately using our Contact Us form.
